Privacy policy
How we process your personal data, under EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the updated Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
Last updated: 1 July 2026. This is a courtesy English translation; the Italian version prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. Data controller
The data controller is Marmi Bleve, with registered office at Strada Provinciale 80, 73030 Tiggiano (LE), Italy — VAT no. 03342860750.
For any request concerning the processing of data you can write to info@marmibleve.it or call +39 0833 532832.
2. What data we collect
We process only the data you provide voluntarily by filling in the forms on the site (consultation request, free guide download, shop order or return request). In particular:
- first and last name;
- phone number and email address;
- where applicable, shipping address and details of the order;
- the content of the message and the information about the project you choose to share with us.
We do not collect special categories of data and we do not carry out any automated profiling.
3. Why we process it and on what legal basis
- To respond to your requests and get back to you for the consultation or the order — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request and your consent (art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations of an administrative and fiscal nature, where applicable — legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Providing the data marked as mandatory is necessary in order to act on your request: without it, we cannot get back to you.
4. How and to whom the data is disclosed
The data is processed with IT tools and is not disseminated. It may be processed, on our behalf and as data processors, by providers of technical services necessary for the site to work:
- Web3Forms — a service that transmits the messages sent through the site's forms to info@marmibleve.it;
- our hosting and email provider, for the technical storage of the messages;
- Stripe — for handling online payments in the shop (card details are processed exclusively by Stripe);
- Google (Google Maps and Google Analytics), only if you give consent via the cookie banner: in that case Google may receive technical data such as the IP address (for Analytics, in anonymised form) and statistical browsing data. The typefaces are hosted on our own servers and involve no disclosure to third parties.
Some of these providers may also process the data outside the European Union: in that case the transfer takes place on the basis of the safeguards provided for by arts. 44 et seq. of the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
5. How long we keep it
We keep the data for the time necessary to handle your request and, if a relationship begins, for its duration and for the periods required by legal obligations. If no relationship follows your request, the data is deleted within 24 months, unless you request otherwise.
6. Cookies and third-party tools
The site does not use profiling cookies. The typefaces are hosted locally, so mere browsing involves no sending of data to third parties. The only third-party elements are the Google Maps map on the Contact page and the visit statistics of Google Analytics 4 (with anonymised IP): both are loaded only after your consent, given via the banner («Accept all») or — for the map alone — the «Show the map» button. If you choose «Only necessary», no data is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time via the «Cookie preferences» link at the bottom of the page, as well as from your browser settings. For the processing carried out by Google, see Google's privacy policy.
7. Your rights
As a data subject you can at any time exercise the rights provided for by arts. 15–22 of the GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of and objection to processing, portability, as well as withdrawal of the consent given (without prejudice to the lawfulness of the earlier processing). To exercise them, write to info@marmibleve.it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Write to us, we'll reply ourselves
