You send us the photograph you treasure — the person you love, your children, your parents, your dog — and we turn it into a portrait engraved in marble, hand-painted in a single solid colour.
It's the gift for those who already have everything: an anniversary, a marriage proposal, a family memory. Not a framed print like so many others — a piece of stone worked just for you, that in a hundred years will look exactly as it does today.
As standard we make it in Blu Bleve, our family's blue since 1973 — or in the colour you prefer.

Here too the house rule applies: at Marmi Bleve nothing is worked without your having seen and approved it first. As with the slabs, so with the portraits.

Order and send us the photo
Fill in the form below: we write to you within one working day to receive your photograph via WhatsApp or email. You don't pay anything yet.

Approve the preview
We prepare the portrait's draft and send it to you. If it doesn't convince you, we correct it — or you cancel everything, without spending a euro.

Engraving and colour by hand
On confirmation you pay and your portrait goes into production: engraving on the slab and colour laid by hand, one piece at a time. We give you the delivery date straight away.

You receive it at home
Made-to-measure packaging and insured courier across Italy, with the hanging fixture already fitted. Or pick it up at the workshop, in Tiggiano.
The masterpiece
The spiral portrait: a single line, your face
Look closely: a single continuous spiral line, widening and tightening until it becomes light and shadow. Here we tried it on the Mona Lisa — but the spiral can hold any face: yours, or that of the person you love.
It's the piece where the precision of a survey to a tenth of a millimetre becomes art. Each one is born from your photograph, on a slab of white marble chosen for you, and is by its nature unrepeatable.

What to know before ordering
What photo do I need for the portrait?
A sharp photo, even one taken on your phone, where the face is clearly visible. A black-and-white or old photo is perfectly fine: we assess it and, if it isn't suitable for engraving, we tell you straight away and choose another one together.
How long does it take?
Every portrait is engraved and hand-painted, one piece at a time: usually 2–3 weeks from approval of the draft. We give you the exact date in writing when you confirm the order — as we do with every job, since 1973.
How and when do I pay?
However you prefer, in two ways. Straight away, online: press «Buy» and pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay via Stripe — then we write to you for the photo and the preview. Or after the preview: order via the form without paying anything and, when you approve the draft, you receive the secure Stripe payment link (or pay by bank transfer). In both cases nothing is engraved before your approval — and if you paid in advance and cancel before engraving, we refund you in full.
Do you ship outside Italy?
Yes. The price includes insured shipping within Italy; for delivery to other countries, order via the form above (or contact us) and we'll send you a shipping quote before you pay. We pack every piece in a rigid, made-to-measure crate.
How is it shipped? And if it arrives damaged?
With rigid, made-to-measure packaging and an insured courier, shipping included in the price within Italy. Should it arrive damaged, we remake it: send us photos within 3 days of delivery and we take care of everything, at no cost.
Can I change my mind? (right of withdrawal)
Up to approval of the draft you can cancel whenever you like: if you haven't paid yet you owe nothing, if you've already paid we refund you in full. After approval the portrait is engraved specifically for you from your photo: for personalised goods the law excludes the right of withdrawal (art. 59 of the Italian Consumer Code). It's also why we have you approve the preview before we start. The legal guarantee of conformity always applies. All the details in the terms of sale.
Do you make other marble objects?
The portraits and the marble-care products are the only things we ship in a box. Everything else — staircases, floors, bathrooms, worktops, thresholds — we make to measure with the PRO2 method and install with our own hands: for that, the starting point is a free consultation at the workshop.

Custom marble isn't ordered online
Staircases, floors, bathrooms and worktops are done properly: survey to a tenth of a millimetre, the slab seen and signed by you, installation in our hands and a written guarantee. The first step is a free consultation at the workshop.
