Why so many give up on marble

It's how too many marble projects end. Not because marble is difficult: because whoever works it improvises, and so every project turns into a gamble. Here's what you risk when no one guarantees the result:
The sample isn't the slab
The tone, veining and reflections of a little sample will never match the final slab. You choose in the dark and hope.
Unevenness and chipping
With large slabs it takes little to break the monolithic effect. A careless installation ruins a noble material.
Wrong joints and finishes
The look falls apart when the installation isn't planned for that marble. What should be beautiful becomes a flaw in plain sight.
Passing the buck
Whoever supplies doesn't install, whoever installs doesn't answer. They bounce the blame between them and you're left with the problem at home.

The slab, seen and signed
You come to the workshop, you see the real slab in its actual finish and the right light. You sign it yourself, before it's cut. What you sign is what enters your home.

Installed by our own team
Almost no one here does this: installation is the hard part, and the traditional marble shop leaves it to you or hands it to someone they know. Our team has been in-house since 2021. Whoever works the marble also installs it: one person responsible from start to finish. No buck-passing, no one to argue with.

Digital & 3D survey
Measurements taken with a laser scanner, to a tenth of a millimetre, and the design drawn on the computer. No improvising: the piece is born already made to measure.

Satisfied or Remade
A written guarantee. If you're not convinced at the final inspection, we install it again. And if need be we change the slab, at no cost.
The team is ours — everything else follows from that. Because we control who installs, we can calculate the schedule. Because we calculate the schedule, we write the delivery date into the contract. Because we answer for the finished job and not only for the material, we can sign «Satisfied or Remade». A marble shop that subcontracts installation doesn't have that chain: it can promise you a start, not a finish.

About us
A family story, stone after stone
In 1973, in Tiggiano, in the heart of Salento, Marmi Bleve was born: the dream of a family that made the working of natural stone its calling.
Today, over 50 years on, that dream continues in the hands of Gabriele (an engineer and son of the trade) and Marilena, who took up their fathers' legacy without ever forgetting the values that founded it: precision, dedication and respect for the beauty of the material.
Our mission is simple: to give marble back the place it deserves, and to do it with a method no one else guarantees in writing.

How can I be sure the marble will look exactly as I imagine it?
With the PRO2 method you choose and sign the real slab before it's cut. The sample is never the same as the final slab: tone, veining and reflections change. That's why you come to the workshop, see the slab in its real finish and light, and approve it with your signature. What you sign is exactly what enters your home: it's the end of «I pictured it differently».
Will you give me a firm delivery date?
Yes. The delivery date is written into the contract. With the PRO2 method we calculate the timeline phase by phase and, if something unexpected shifts a date, we're the ones who tell you first, with a phone call. No vague answers like «sometime later».
Who carries out the installation?
Our in-house team, trained as marble workers. Here, whoever supplies also installs: one person responsible from start to finish, a clean installation and no buck-passing between supplier and fitter.
What does the «Satisfied or Remade» guarantee cover?
If you're not convinced at the final inspection, we install it again and, if need be, we even change the slab at no cost. Not just in words: in writing, with a guarantee certificate.
What marble work do you do?
Floors and claddings, staircases, bathrooms and basins, worktops, thresholds and sills, tables and bespoke pieces, plus restoration and treatments. We work marble, granite and natural stone to measure. Kitchens made entirely of marble carry our STOKI brand and designer fireplaces our Fobesque brand, our specialised names.
Isn't marble flooring too delicate? I'm afraid of becoming its slave.
It's the most widespread myth about marble — and it comes straight from ceramic-tile marketing. Marble is the stone of palaces and cathedrals: people have walked on it for centuries. What makes a floor «demanding» isn't the stone, it's the wrong choice: the right marble, the right finish (a honed or antiqued surface forgives far more than a mirror polish) and the right protective treatment change everything. Gabriele trained in the chemistry of marble with Faber's technicians precisely for this: we apply treatments that protect against stains and wear, so the care is that of any fine floor — not slavery. And in the consultation we tell you honestly which material withstands your traffic and which doesn't.
